R. Keith Harris SAG
R. Keith Harris received his Bachelor of Science in Radio and Television Production with a concentration in Theatre from Western Carolina. He received his Master of Fine Arts in Acting with a concentration in film at UNCG.
Keith’s tenacity and diversity has led him to a diverse range of roles along side Hollywood’s top talent. He had a leading Role with Mikey Rooney in LOST STALLIONS, a supporting Role with Pat Hingle and Malcolm McDowell in last years THE LIST, a leading role with David Carradine and Dominique Swain in the Urban Thriller FALL DOWN DEAD, and a leading role alongside Will Patton in the feature film DOG DAYS OF SUMMER. He also shared screen time with Oscar Nominated actress Ami Adams in the critically acclaimed film JUNEBUG, and recently finished filming on THE 5th QUARTER with Aidan Quinn and Andie MacDowell.
On TV Keith has had Guest-starring roles on BEVERLY HILLS: 90210, DAWSON’S CREEK, SURFACE, and ARMY WIVES, as well as a recurring role on the CW’s hit show ONE TREE HILL.
Keith co-produced the 35mm Romantic Comedy CHICKS 101 in which he also starred. From there Keith started writing and directing as well. Keith had some money saved up and wrote, produced, directed and starred in his first short film HARVEST – an ambitious period piece set in 1954. HARVEST was nominated BEST OF FEST at the Damah Film Festival at Culver Studio’s in Culver City, CA. The film went on the win AUDIENCE CHOICE AWARD FOR BEST SHORT at the Charlotte International Film Festival. From there, it was selected to have a three month run with TimeWarner Cable “OnDemand” and was one of only 20 films selected for the PBS series “NC Visions” which showcases North Carolina Filmmakers.

R. Keith Harris... plays Louie King, a not-so-nice yet lovable guy who can't say "enough" when it comes to the ladies. Sadly, his attitudes accurately match the thinking of most men. But therein lies the beauty of his portrayal, it is realistic and believable.
